Pumpkin Patch

We headed to the Lake View Farms Pumpkin Patch today with Papa Dar, Grandma Kelly, Uncle Steve, Cousin Riley and Anna.  We all rode the train to the patch through a haunted barn and then rode a ferry boat on the lake back.  The lake had some surprise critters popping out of it as we rode through the lake that got a few screams from the children.  Kellen was just taking all the excitement in and really enjoying it!  It was the perfect day for pumpkin searching!

Nana's Birthday!

Since Kellen's been a little under the weather the last few days, we all decided to celebrate Nana's birthday at our house.  We made enchiladas and cupcakes for the big celebration and Kellen seemed instantly better once he saw his Nana!  Happy Birthday, Mom!!!!

Animal Mass

Grandma and Grandpa Fitzgerald invited us to join them for Sunday Mass which happened to be a "Bless the Animals" Mass.  Needless to say Kellen was thoroughly entertained and his squeals and laughs blended nicely with the sounds of cat meows and dog barks.  There were quite the variety of animals to be blessed:  cats, dogs, bunnies, snakes, birds, and children even brought their stuffed animals!  Now that's our kind of church!  :-)

Playgroup Family BBQ

My Mom and Baby Playgroup thought it would be fun to have a family BBQ to introduce all of our baby's daddies to the group.  Colin and I hosted the event and it turned out perfectly!  The weather was incredible, the food was fabulous, and the babies had a great time hangin' out with all the dads!  We can't wait to do it again!

Kellen is 8 months old!

These past few months have just flown by!  Kellen is now 8 months old and is officially on the go!  He is crawling everywhere, pulling himself up on furniture, and loves hearing himself say "dada".  It's been so fun to see his personality develop this last month.  He sure is quite the ham!
